As a birth and postpartum doula, I'm committed to supporting parents through every stage of the journey. I've compiled a list of items that can make a significant difference in the early days and weeks of parenthood. These products and resources are hoped to provide comfort, ease and confidence, helping you focus on what matters most-- which is bonding with your baby. This is an exclusive list that I share with each of my clients and have received great feedback for. From practical everyday items that simplify your routines to nourishing tools that support your well being; these must-haves are some favorites among the parents I have worked with. They are not the end all-be all, just recommended. These products have been thoughtfully selected and linked to support and simplify your journey through parenthood :) Much love <3 Prenatal & Postpartum Care Prenatal pills with DHA Frida Mom postpartum recovery kit Frida Mom disposable postpartum underwear Nursing bras / Nursing Bras / Nursing Bras Lansinoh disposable nursing pads Medela manual breast pump Hands free pumping bra Haakaa breastfeeding essential Always Discreet disposable underwear LaVie Lactation Massager Milk storage bags Baby + Care

These were my feet when I was 9 months pregnant with Jayce. Somebody call the ‘AMALAMBS’ Talk about swollen and uncomfortable . Swelling (EDEMA) is not an abnormal occurrence during pregnancy. It can be caused by a variety of things but can also be worsened by some factors. . Below are some reasons pregnancy swelling can occur: 1. you’ve got a bit more blood and fluid during pregnancy because the baby needs the extra support. 2. Theres a baby AND your belly squishing down on the vessels that return blood from your legs to your heart. 3. extra pregnancy hormones helping the body to retain some fluid. . Another interesting thing that women have reported, (myself included) is foot growth after pregnancy. I went up half a size and my foot got a tad bit wider. I had to say goodbye to some of my favorite shoes, boohoo . The human body is so amazing. I find it both scary and fascinating all it can endure while creating and bringing life into this world. Sidenote:: my feet no longer look like the 2nd pic
